The company was started as a side hustle in 2006, by our founder Pearlina Simmons. Since then, SSG has grown to be a trusted guide for business owners and non-profit leaders.

Born in 2006, Simmons Strategy Group is rooted in my childhood and teenage years, helping my mother run church programs and my father run his own construction business. After more than 25 years leading teams and launching products in startups, non-profits, and corporations, entrepreneurship remains my passion. There’s nothing I love more than helping emerging women leaders, minority business owners, and nonprofits unlock their potential.
Through my own business, I’ve served as a trusted guide to more than 100 individual and group business coaching clients. I've provided in-depth executive coaching to more than 50 non-profit employees at all leadership levels, and led 400+ individuals through change initiatives related to new business or product launches.
